By the way, today is March 14, or 3.14! So, to all the Pi Zetes out there, happy Pi Day!
Spring Break
The actives are all on spring break now, so there may not be very many updates this week. Keep checking back for details, or better yet, subscribe to email updates by entering your email address on the upper left side of the front page!
February Financial Reports Now Posted
Directors can access them here. As a follow-up to January's post: RPI paid us once in January, and once in the beginning of March. They recently provided us a list of their (and subsequently our) outstanding receivables, which was not provided at the time of the first payment. So, you'll see that there are two different files for accounts receivable: one as of 2/28/11 (which includes the first payment but not the second payment), and one as of 3/8/11 (which includes both payments).
Also, the January reports have been restated (to reflect the first payment's details) and can be found in the same folder.
2011 5 Star Submission
Our most worthy Phi, Dodds Anderson, submitted the annual "5 Star" paperwork on March 1. It has been uploaded here. Stay tuned as to how many stars we receive! Thanks to Dodds for pulling it together.

February Financials Coming Soon
I am going to publish the February financial reports tomorrow or early next week. Sorry for the delay.
Our Condolences
The brothers of Zeta Psi would like to extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Cole Matthew Rocque, a junior at RPI who passed away on Sunday, March 6. We join the rest of RPI's community in mourning the sudden loss of one of our fellow students. It is heartbreaking when any parent is forced to to bury a son, thus we wish them strength and courage during this incredibly trying time.

Interactive Map of Zetes
As a follow-up to the post made earlier this week, here is the entire "Zete map" that you can pan, zoom, and manipulate to your hearts' content. If you see an error or would like to contact a special someone, contact Frank Harrington! If you'd like to download the Google Earth file so you can see more detail, because a lot of placemarks overlap one another, you can do so here. After that, open Google Earth and hit File -> Open, then select that file. The placemarks should automatically populate Google Earth. If this is too complicated, here's the map (note that you can always view the map on the "About Us" tab at the top of the page as well):

February Actives' Treasury Report Published
Pi Zetes of the Tri-State Area
We were able to import our database of brothers into Google Earth, which allows us to visually identify where brothers are located. For example, below is an overview of all of our brothers in the Tri-State Area. Hopefully, we wil be able to bring brothers together by publishing screenshots of different locations periodically. If you see a placemark out of place, please contact Frank Harrington immediately so the database can be fixed. You can also contact Frank to retrieve a brother's contact information if you see someone you'd like to catch up with. Note that the number in the placemark represents their year of graduation ("7" meaning 1970s, "1" meaning 2010s, and so on).
New Photos from the House!
The actives have published some photos from their recent IFC Volleyball game. Check them out here! Also, all of the house photos can be viewed here:
RPI Basketball in League Playoffs
You may or may not be aware that the RPI men's basketball team finished the regular season tied for first place in the Liberty League. They ended the season with an 11-3 record in the Liberty League, and 17-7 overall. Due to a dubious tiebreaker, they will not host the tournament, and instead will travel to Hobart to face off against Skidmore on Friday evening at 6 PM. The winner of the game will play the winner of Hobart vs. Hamilton in the final, which will take place Saturday at 3 PM.
Our chapter is represented by the following guys:
- Paul Halas '06 (assistant coach)
- Andrew Darst '11 (co-captain)
- Mike Hammond '11
- Matt Pooley '12
- Daniel Martin '13
- Jamie Zajac '13
- Nate Haskell '14
Please join us in wishing the basketball team the best of luck this weekend!
